Hi, Connie, I've been thinking about the Valentine cards that my school-mates and I traded at Hanover No. 4--just a few short miles from your school. Your church and maybe the school, too, are still there. My beloved Hanover No. 4 is just a memory and all that remains of the location is an acre of soil from which crops are grown. If I had your talent for expression, I'm sure there'd be something poetic to say about this.
Take care, you are in my prayers.

Look back, Connie, over the 48 Valentine's Day's you and Charles have spent together, with the resultant tears and joys, trials and blessings three children and a life rich with music, art, and Sanctuary... how could Halmark come up with anything to match that in any case?! Instead, here's a big hug from your brother and me, with the hope that warm and sunny days come soon. Caio!

Mom

Now that you have the Godiva Truffles, I hope the rest of your Valentine's Day (the feeling better at the very least) wish comes true.

There's not much we can do about Hallmark - I might suggest a blank card, or one of your own composition with a picture from the archives - you do have a way with words.

Here's to your day - don't forget to compile the Penzey's list!

Love, H
