DearCharles and Connie,

I am praying for you both today, and thanking God for the powerful and far reaching impact that you have made on me and upon hundreds of people with your light of Jesus that shines from your eyes. May His love for you carry you every day, and may the gentle summer breeze remind you of the awesome peace of the Holy Spirit's presence in your breath.
I am playing organ a lot, and even taught one of my Carleton College students Sonata II. It was featured in a recital at Carleton College last May. Thank you for such exuberant, dancing music Charles! I turn to your repertoire frequently and always delight in performing your works.

God is always in our midst.Live in tranquility and soak up the sunshine of His power.
Much love to you and your children,
Janean Gauwitz Hall

Connie - A quick hello to you three.

Drawn by a local artists exhibition, we enjoyed a recent visit to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, about 10 minutes from our house.

A large Mission church collapsed many years ago, but the smaller, original chapel (maybe 200 hundred seating) has been beautifully restored. Some special thoughts were sent your way from that peaceful place (with two foot thick adobe walls).

It's off again to our closest version of your Pacific Ocean & evergreen trees "heaven" -- Laguna Beach. We have worked out an arrangement with a person there who has a small one-bedroom apartment on top of a double-car garage (w/ a small peek-a-boo ocean view). A Vacation Rental By Owner cancellation resulted in three very special nights there for us.

take care, watch out for thunderstorms, and know that you remain very much in our spiritual thoughts and prayers.

Dear Connie,

Your comments are so moving....that to write the weather seems trivial...but today was gorgeous! You would have enjoyed walking Alphie in our neighborhood, although he wouldn't have nearly the exciting animals to track!

We think of you often! God's peace to you and Charles!

Love, Irene

How centered can a person be? Apparently, you are the paradigm upon which the center should be based. Your calm reflection and appreciation of the subtle yet sublime is truly inspirational in a world full to the brim with sensationalism. I love reading your words.

My continuing best, and very best wishes and prayers,
